My story

Not broken. Just wired differently.

Brittni in the garden

I'm Brittni, and for most of my life I thought the problem was me.

I spent years feeling like something was wrong, but I could never put a finger on it. The missed deadlines. The mental fog. The guilt of never quite keeping up with people who seemed to be doing the same things with half the effort. I just assumed I wasn't trying hard enough, so I tried harder. Then harder again.

From the outside it worked. I held things together. I met the deadlines, eventually. Nobody looking at my life would have guessed how much it cost me to keep it looking that ordinary.

Then I started researching ADHD, and everything suddenly made sense. It was like reading my own story for the first time. That confusing, overwhelming moment where relief and grief hit you at once. Relief because there was finally a name for it. Grief for all the years I spent believing I was the problem.

Here's the plot twist nobody warns you about: understanding how your brain actually works changes everything. I stopped fighting it. I stopped hating it. I started working with it instead of against it.

If you're here, you've probably started wondering the same thing about yourself. Maybe you're confused, overwhelmed, or full of self-doubt. I get it. I lived it.

That's exactly why I created these resources. Not as a label, but as the starting point I wish I had. A gentle, honest way to explore what's really going on inside your brain, without shame and without pressure.

You're not disabled. You're differently abled.

You don't have a disorder. You're differently ordered.

You were born different because the world needs different.

So think differently, act differently, be audaciously different. xx
